Dracula – DIRECT RAIL CONNECTION BETWEEN THE CZECH REPUBLIC AND ROMANIA

Transport route:

• Brno Maloměřice – Curtici and back, with the possibility of connecting wagons at the Štúrovo transit station
• Distance: 560 km, passing through four countries
• Transit time: 17 hours in one direction, with 18 hours allocated for unloading/loading/transloading goods and wagons at Curtici station (time can be extended upon customer request and agreement)
• Regular departures 1 – 2 times per week. Specific departure information provided individually upon request

Logistic system hub and spoke:

• Transport of conventional wagon shipments for all types of goods
• Transport of extraordinary and RID shipments must be reviewed and approved before commencement
• Transport of containers, swap bodies, and road trailers
• Option for transport of single wagon shipments and groups of wagons
• Collection/distribution of shipments from Curtici to other stations in Romania or other Southeast European countries
• Collection/distribution of shipments from Brno to other stations not only in the Czech Republic
• Connection with other system trains enables us to ensure transport throughout Europe and to some destinations outside Europe

Provided Services

• Facilitation of transloading of intermodal transport units in Brno and Curtici. Cooperation with Lagermax, Trade Trans, Railport Arad terminals
• Handling the transfer of goods from one railway wagon to another or from a railway wagon to a truck in Brno and Curtici
• We ensure direct transportation to the customer using a combination of rail and road transport as per specification
• Monitoring of shipments throughout the transport
• Flexibility in train departures. In case of extraordinary requests, we can adjust train departures to suit the situation to the customer’s full satisfaction
