ČD Cargo Logistics presented at the SpeedCHAIN 2024 conference in Prague

The SpeedCHAIN conference is a traditional meeting of logistics professionals, organized by Reliant in the Břevnov Monastery. This year’s edition took place on Wednesday 18.9.2024 with the theme LOGISTICS: Vision of the future.

The Future of Intermodal is part of the programme: How to meet the challenges and seize the opportunities?, which introduced, among others, the sister company BOHEMIAKOMBI with a lecture by Vladimir Fischer on the topic of Continental Lines of Combined Transport or the ports of Koper and Gdansk, with which ČD Cargo Logistics cooperates.

ČD Cargo Logistics was represented by Vit Mikolášik, member of the company’s Board of Directors, at the panel discussion “Goods on the Road: The world is changing and logistics with it”. In the discussion he mentioned, among others. He also discussed the insufficient connection of the Czech railway with Germany, which is currently only possible via one double-track electrified border crossing. We are grateful for the support of the Ministry of Transport, which must coordinate the improvement of the railway infrastructure with the German side. The Czech Republic needs a stronger connection with Germany, there is general agreement on this.
