to process personal data as a controller in accordance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR in accordance with the terms below.

When handling personal data, we act in accordance with the legal order of the Czech Republic and directly applicable regulations of the European Union, in particular Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on the processing of personal data, as amended, Act No. 480/2004 Coll. and in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of Regulation (EU) No. 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, the General Data Protection Regulation on certain information society services and amending certain laws, as amended.

In the following lines we will explain how and for what purpose we process your personal data and who the processors may be. This information is important, so we hope you will take the time to read it carefully.

What data do we process as controllers?

When is it not necessary to give consent to the processing of personal data?

We may process personal data without your consent only for the following purposes:

  • Performance of a contract for the provision of a service or product
  • Fulfilling legal obligations arising for us from generally binding legal regulations.
  • Processing in the context of legitimate interest (e.g. for direct marketing, ensuring safety and security of life).

For what purpose do we manage personal data and for how long?

The data may be used for commercial and marketing purposes, i.e. to maintain a database of website users and to offer goods and services, for as long as the legal reason for this processing and use of personal and other data lasts. In other words, we collect your personal data for the purpose of enabling you to use our services and to keep you informed about new developments. Filling in the form – To process the personal data entered when filling in the consent form for the purpose of performing the contract, i.e. for the purpose of delivering the goods or providing the service. Furthermore, we may process this data for the purpose of fulfilling our statutory obligations (in particular registration obligations, archiving of tax documents, etc.) and for the purpose of protecting our legal claims.

We manage the data for a maximum of 5 years or until the consent is withdrawn.

We may use identification and address data in accordance with the so-called legitimate interest for the production of internal statistics. We use the anonymised output from these statistics to improve our services, including analysing user behaviour and marketing.

We process personal data collected through cookies on the basis of your consent (which you can give by confirming it on the web interface after you have been notified of the use of cookies and have had the opportunity to read this Policy). We are entitled to process the personal data collected via cookies even if you continue to use the web interface after you have been notified of the processing of such personal data. We use the personal data collected through cookies for the purposes of providing user support, improving our services, including analysing user behaviour and marketing.

All personal data provided for the above purposes are provided entirely voluntarily and the expression of consent is done by actively interacting (ticking) the box to consent to their processing or on the basis of a legitimate interest. You can revoke the processing of data for this purpose at any time via email.

You may at any time lodge a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data or the controller’s failure to comply with its obligations under the GDPR with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority in the Czech Republic is the Office for Personal Data Protection, located at Pplk. Sochor 27, 170 00 Prague 7, www.uoou.cz.
